The Miami Heat’s LeBron James and Memphis Grizzlies’ Zach Randolph today were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Jan. 24-30.

James finished the week second in the conference in scoring (33.0 ppg) and steals (2.3 spg), while helping the Heat to a 2-1 record. He had a double-double in Sunday’s 108-103 win at Oklahoma City with 24 points and 13 assists. With Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh out of the lineup on Friday, he scored a game-high 39 points in an 88-87 win over Detroit. James has now scored at least 20 points in each of his last 12 games.

Randolph averaged 20.8 points and 15.0 rebounds in leading the Grizzlies to a 3-1 week with wins over the Toronto, Philadelphia and Washington. On Jan. 29, he posted his fifth 20-point, 20-rebound game of the season with 24 points and 20 boards in a 107-93 win over Washington, pulling Memphis back to a .500 record for the first time since Nov. 8. The Grizzlies are 13-7 when he records 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Jan. 27 @ New York: Tallied 24 points and 11 rebounds in a 93-88 loss to the Knicks.

Jan. 28 vs. Detroit: Poured in 39 points to go along with nine assists and eight rebounds in an 88-87 win over the Pistons.

Jan. 30 @ Oklahoma City: Collected 23 points, handed out 13 assists and had four steals in a 108-103 win over the Thunder.

Jan. 24 @ Toronto: Posted a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds in a 100-98 win over the Raptors

Jan. 26 @ New Jersey: Scored 20 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a 93-88 loss to the Nets.

Jan. 28 @ Philadelphia: Totaled 22 points and 12 rebounds in a 99-94 victory over the 76ers. Jan. 29 vs. Washington: Recorded 24 points and 20 rebounds in a 107-93 win over the Wizards.

Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week were Charlotte’s Stephen Jackson, New Orleans’ Chris Paul, Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, Orlando’s Dwight Howard, Sacramento’s DeMarcus Cousins and San Antonio’s Manu Ginobili.
