ON THE ROAD AGAIN

For the first time in their 40-year history, the Eagles are performing in Mainland China.

“They all sing along with ‘Hotel California’ and ‘Desperado.’ It’s amazing. We’re looking forward to coming back again in the future.”

Shown here on a day off before their first March 13, Beijing show, additionally the Eagles also performed in Shanghai on March 9th, and were warmly received by a crowd of 6,000.

“The people, here, have been very warm and welcoming,” said Eagles co-founder Don Henley. “They all sing along with ‘Hotel California’ and ‘Desperado.’ It’s amazing. We’re looking forward to coming back again in the future.”

Hong Kong will be the final stop on their 12-city tour of Asia that included concerts in Taipei, Taiwan and Seoul, Korea – two other countries in which the band had never previously performed.

The Eagles also performed four concerts in Japan and departed that country five days before the devastating earthquake and tsunami struck.
