If Laarni's situation were a crime scene From the beginning Pinoy Dream Academy reality series contestant Laarni has been criticized by her housemates regarding her hygiene. It raised the questions what is this show about? Where are they going with this plot? Is this a talent contest or a soap opera? Within two weeks three contestants left the sow due to stress. Two quit voluntarily and one was hospitalized and later expelled to benefit his failing health. All were over the age of 18. The 18-year-olds contestants were relishing the departure off all of their elders. The inmates were running the insane asylum. The producers of the show appear to be salivating and foaming at the mouth as the tension in the house intensified which primarily emanated from five of the six member 18-year-old group. And who was to blame? Laarni…. the girl with the strongest voice of all 16 contestants who have been on the show. A girl whom the 18-year-olds despised and tried to rid themselves of. A girl who cracked from the tension and is a candidate for being victim number four to fall by the wayside of another dropout of this ridiculous show from stress. All of this negativity is towards a young girl who loves to ….. SING. The situation is remindful of a television PSA (Public Service Announcement) by the United Nations. The scene is in a school cafeteria a female student with a try of food approaches a table of female students and asks if she can sit with them. They look at her with disdain without a reply. When the student sat down the other students picked up their trays and walked away to another table. Another student at a nearby table saw what was going on. She picked up her tray and went to the table of the dejected student and asked if she could sit with her. She did and initiates a conversation. The message is that caring about others can make a difference. If Laarni's situation were a crime scene given the evidence it appears as though Laarni is being set up for crimes she didn't commit. The question is….WHY? Why choose this girl to make an example of? The shows producers have given her the title as The Independent Woman. She's not independent by choice; she was rejected from day one and viciously talked about. When the students chose two teams she wasn't picked but left over and assigned to the team with the last pick. Why would anyone associate with a group that has rejected her, mocked her and mentally abused her? It's as if Laarni is responsible for everything that has gone wrong in the world. Though she wasn't born at the time she's responsible for the Kennedy brothers John and Robert assassinations. She's responsible for Martin Luther King's assassination. She's responsible for the destruction of the New York twin towers. She's responsible for the British invading America and Australia and stealing the indigenous people's land while raping their women and children, murdering, enslaving, taxing them and stealing their treasures. She's responsible for the problems in the Middle East. By their action towards her all the things that are bad or wrong in the world is Laarni's fault. If you think these analogies are absurd then you've got the picture. She IS… guilty of the freezer not being connected resulting in the students food spoiling but that happened well after the dye was cast from day one that she would be the house villain. Of the 18-year-old group only Van is NOT GUILTY. He is the most mature of the 18's. From the beginning his close friend is Sen 25, who is a survivor from cancer. Bugoy 18, is guilty and joins Bea 18, Inaki 18, Apple 18 and sometimes Miguel 18 who is sometimes negatively influenced by his self perceived high and mighty girlfriend Bea. Bugoy showed his ugly side when he mocked Jet after due to stress he quit the house and gave a departing speech. After Jet walked out of the house Bugoy stood before the remaining housemates made strange faces and mimicked Jet's words about leaving and wishing the students well. The housemates found Bugoy's ridicule of Jet amusing. Of the elders Liezel 23, is never involved in controversy. She has focused on her singing and has been graded the top vocalist the first four weeks of the series. Sen, Christian 25 and Bunny 22 are peacemakers. Chris 21 is mostly positive but is more concerned about chasing after the handsome boys in the house Sen and Van. Her story line is she doesn't know which one she prefers. After Laarni's revolt she tried to make amends to her fellow classmates by preparing them food. According to the Dream Academy website they rejected the gesture and Bea and Apple were seen on a televised portion of the show mocking and criticizing her as they walked away from the food she prepared. The following day (Saturday) on performance night with her (as American Idol's Simon Cowell would say) BIG VOICE she belted out 'Natural Woman.' You could see her reach down deep inside and sing with soul, power and emotion. How was her performance graded by the judges? Was her effort appreciated? With so many people leaving the show due to stress it certainly points out that SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE. Part 3 - Negative Ringleader # 2 BEA is eliminated - Was negative ringleader # 1 Inaki's NO TALENT found out? The grade results for Laarni. June, 2008 THE APPRENTICE SIXTH SEASON WINNER As we mentioned last week that we would reveal who was the eventual winner of The Apprentice Season Six. The show was previously televised in the USA last year thus the results are in. Stefani Schaeffer 32 a Defense Attorney from Los Angeles, California /Palm Springs, California was hired by Trump. She is the first applicant to be hired without ever having served as a project manager. She was a low profile participant during the first two episodes but emerges this week as a member of a team which wins the task. From this point on the viewer can identify her and watch what she does and how she handles herself to eventually win the title of The Apprentice. Note: This is the first episode in which Donald Trump Jr. appears this season as a member of the board who decides who is fired for the week. His sister Ivanka appeared in the first two episodes.
