THE APPRENTICE FINAL FOUR

A new twist is in the making for most Southeastern Asian viewers of The Apprentice. The show is in the final stages of series five that aired in the USA and Malaysia last year. The filming occurred in the fall of 2005 and premiered in the USA on Monday February 27, 2006. The finale for The Apprentice 5 took place in Los Angeles on June 5, 2006.

Season 5's finale was the lowest rated ever, down 23% from season 4 and down 28% from season 3's final episode of 18-49 demographic.

In this series that Donald Trumps children Ivanka and Donald Jr. get involved as boardroom judges and monitors of the contestants and give opinions of whom should be fired. It is also the last series for the programs long time judge Carolyn Kepcher.

Kepcher 38, and Trump had a falling out last year and it is not clear what really happened. Reports note that Trump said Kepcher was fired and Kepcher says she quit. The bottom line is this is her last series and she departed from the Trump organization on August 31, 2006.

Trump stated on a Larry King show in so many words that Kepcher became too involved in herself. During the shooting of the series when Kepcher was missing from the program and Trumps daughter Ivanka took her place.

Kepcher was the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and General Manager for the Trump National Golf Club. She has written a book and has made public speaking appearances.

With little formal education Kepcher worked as a waitress prior to being hired by Trump in 1994 as a director of sales and marketing. After four years in that capacity she started to move up the Trump Organization ladder by being elevated to the position of Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of the Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor, New York, and subsequently the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, and oversaw over 250 employees at both locations. In 2004 she wrote a book, Carolyn 101: Business Lessons From the Apprentice's Straight Shooter.

After she left the Trump Organization Kepcher became co-founder and CEO of Carolyn & Co., a company created for the purpose of "providing a broad array of services and assistance to career women."

Bill Gates of Microsoft also hired her to star in a new reality show "Ultimate Challenge" to find the next best small-business venture. For Kepcher life goes on but for The Apprentice there is more.

Series five is now down to the final four contestants, two men and two women. If you don't want to know the results for this weeks show please move on to the next section of the column since we are about to reveal the winner.

In the coming episode this Thursday (schedule below) Who Wears the Pants the key firing points were: Customer Relations issues were being heard about during the hearing.

Ivanka lambasted Allie for being too drastic on the designs. Of the two remaining women, both Allie and Roxanne were fired for not differentiating work from friendship throughout the task, and for exposed hidden disloyalty with each other in the boardroom.

While Allie was responsible for her team's loss (because of her flamboyant designs and her rudeness, Trump had to let Roxanne go as well since both Allie and Roxanne were too close during the job interview.

The winner's reward was an intimate dinner with Ivanka and Donald Jr. plus advice on how to become Trump's fifth apprentice

Three episodes remain including this week (1) Week 13: Who Wears the Pants? (2_ The Final Task: The Mother of All Tasks and the final (3) Decision Time of who will be the Apprentice.

One of the two finalists appointed one of the final three ladies to join his team in the final. He was romantically interested in her in terms of marriage.

PIRATE MASTER

AZMYTH KAMINSKI, 26 a music producer from Los Angeles, California in the USA has been elected by the reality series Pirate Master crew to be the captain for the second time. But there's a special relationship between he and Southeast Asia.

Azmyth is currently married, although his wife, Tang Tao, lives in Thailand at the moment. He met her while he living in Ko Panang, Thailand while he was working there as a disc jockey.

He describes himself as an artist by training that endeavors in interior design, architecture, fashion, the fine arts and music. He is currently searching for a warehouse space to build a club and business center for the art community in the Los Angeles area where he has lived for the past four years.

JOHNNY CASH MOVIE IS ON

If you want to see a great movie with plenty of country music then tune in to the Johnny Cash movie "Walk The Line" that is being televised on the Star Movie channel in Southeast Asia.

For those that don't know... Cash is one of the greatest country singers of all time. He had problems with drugs and served time in prison but went on to overcome those obstacles to become one of the top country-recording artists whose popularity spanned over five decades. The film stars Jauquine Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon. It's a MUST WATCH
